What Is Non-Surgical Body Contouring?
Non-surgical body contouring refers to a category of treatments that reduce stubborn fat, tighten loose skin, and improve body shape without incisions or surgery. The most effective technologies available at medical spas use targeted energy — ultrasound, radiofrequency, or cryotherapy — to break down fat cells or stimulate skin contraction.
At Solace Wellness Aesthetics in Fort Myers, we offer three non-surgical body contouring modalities: Cavitation RF, Cryotherapy Body Sculpt, and Liquid Lipo. Each targets different concerns and body areas.
Cavitation RF Body Sculpting at Solace
Cavitation uses ultrasound waves to create pressure bubbles inside fat cells, causing them to rupture and release their contents to be naturally processed by the lymphatic system. Combined with radiofrequency (RF), which heats the dermis to stimulate collagen production, this treatment both reduces fat and tightens skin simultaneously.
Best for: abdomen, flanks (love handles), thighs, upper arms, back fat. Results are visible after 3–6 sessions. Most patients do a series of 6–10 sessions spaced 1 week apart.
Cryotherapy Body Sculpting — Fort Myers
Cryotherapy body sculpting uses targeted cold application to freeze and destroy fat cells in a specific area — similar in concept to CoolSculpting but delivered at Solace as a medical-grade, non-branded alternative. Fat cells are more sensitive to cold than surrounding skin tissue, which means the right application temperature selectively eliminates fat without damaging skin.
Best for: pockets of stubborn fat that persist despite diet and exercise — lower abdomen, bra line, inner thighs, and jawline.
Liquid Lipo Injections at Solace
Liquid Lipo is an injectable fat-dissolving treatment using deoxycholic acid (the same active ingredient in Kybella) to break down localized fat deposits. It's ideal for smaller, more precise areas like double chin, bra back fat, and small abdominal pockets where cavitation or cryotherapy may be less targeted.
Results develop over 4–8 weeks as the body processes the disrupted fat cells. Most areas require 2–4 sessions.
How Many Sessions Do You Need for Body Contouring?
Results vary by treatment and individual body composition:
- Cavitation RF — visible improvement typically after 3 sessions; optimal results at 6–10
- Cryotherapy — measurable fat reduction after 1–2 sessions; additional sessions for more dramatic results
- Liquid Lipo — 2–4 sessions per area, spaced 4–8 weeks apart
During your consultation at Solace, we assess your goals, body type, and skin laxity to build a realistic treatment plan with a projected timeline.
