Regenerative aesthetic treatments that use your body's own platelet-rich plasma and platelet-rich fibrin to stimulate natural healing, collagen production, and tissue repair — for face, under-eye, and hair restoration.
About This Category
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) are regenerative treatments derived from a small draw of your own blood. The sample is spun in a centrifuge to concentrate growth factors, which are then applied or injected into treatment areas to stimulate natural healing and collagen production.
PRF is the evolution of PRP — it contains higher concentrations of platelets, growth factors, and white blood cells, and releases them more slowly over days and weeks (rather than hours). This results in more sustained tissue regeneration and improved outcomes for facial rejuvenation and hair restoration.
From The Glow Edit PRP and PRF are often combined with microneedling — read Microneedling Aftercare: The Complete Guide on The Glow Edit.

The original 'Vampire Facial' — your PRP is applied topically after microneedling, driving growth factors deep into the dermis to stimulate collagen, reduce fine lines, and improve texture and tone.
The evolved Vampire Facial — PRF contains higher growth factor concentrations and releases them over a longer period than PRP. Combined with microneedling for deeper penetration and superior collagen induction.
PRF injected directly into the tear trough and under-eye area to restore volume, reduce dark circles caused by hollowing, and stimulate new collagen growth — all using your body's own growth factors.
PRP injected into thinning scalp areas to stimulate dormant follicles, increase hair shaft diameter, and slow active hair loss. Effective for androgenetic alopecia and diffuse hair thinning in men and women.
Why Solace
No synthetic ingredients. No foreign substances. PRP and PRF are derived entirely from your own blood — eliminating the risk of allergic reaction and ensuring complete biocompatibility.
PRF is spun at a lower speed than PRP, preserving more platelets and growth factors. It releases those factors slowly over days — not hours — resulting in more sustained tissue regeneration.
Unlike fillers that add volume artificially, regenerative treatments activate your own fibroblasts to produce real collagen and elastin — results that improve over months, not just days.
PRP and PRF treatments involve minimal recovery. Expect 24–48 hours of redness and mild swelling after a facial treatment, and 48–72 hours of scalp tenderness after hair restoration. No significant social downtime.

Platelets are not just clotting agents. They are sophisticated repositories of growth factors — proteins that signal cells to divide, migrate, and produce structural proteins like collagen and elastin. Normal blood contains roughly 200,000 platelets per microliter. PRP preparation concentrates this to approximately 1.5 to 2 million platelets per microliter — a 5–10x concentration of the growth factors that drive tissue repair. PRF takes this further by eliminating the anticoagulant from the processing, allowing the platelets to form a fibrin matrix that holds these growth factors in place and releases them gradually over 7–14 days rather than all at once.
The key growth factors in PRP and PRF include PDGF (platelet-derived growth factor), TGF-β (transforming growth factor beta), VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor), EGF (epidermal growth factor), and IGF-1 (insulin-like growth factor). These proteins collectively stimulate fibroblast proliferation — the cells that produce collagen and elastin — while accelerating cellular turnover and improving local blood supply. Applied topically after microneedling or injected under the skin, these factors reach dermal fibroblasts directly and trigger a multi-month collagen remodeling cascade.
Processed with anticoagulant. Liquid consistency — ideal for topical application during microneedling and for injection. Releases growth factors rapidly at the treatment site. 5–10x platelet concentration. Best for skin texture improvement, acne scars, and anti-aging when combined with microneedling. Available from $350.
Processed without anticoagulant. Forms a fibrin matrix that releases growth factors over 7–14 days. Also contains white blood cells (immune support) and CD34+ stem cells. Gel consistency — excellent for under-eye hollow treatment as a biological volumizer. Preferred for hair restoration. Available from $400.
