Because your natural lashes are on a continuous growth-and-shed cycle, extensions attached to lashes that shed will fall out with them — typically 30–40% of a set is lost within the first 2–3 weeks. A fill appointment at Solace replaces these shed extensions, restores your original fullness, and extends your current set indefinitely. Fill appointments are also the opportunity to adjust your style — upgrading from classic to hybrid, adding density in specific zones, or changing your curl or length as your preferences evolve. Your lash artist assesses your existing extensions at every fill — removing any grown-out or twisted extensions, cleaning the lash line, and applying fresh extensions to natural lashes that are currently at the optimal growth stage. A fill takes 45–75 minutes depending on your style and how much shedding has occurred. The lash line is cleaned with oil-free cleanser. Extensions that have grown too far from the lash line (where they can cause discomfort or leverage damage) are removed with professional-grade remover before new extensions are applied.
Fresh extensions are applied to natural lashes that have grown in since your last appointment and any lashes left bare by shedding. Your artist matches the length, curl, and style of your existing set for a seamless blend.
The filled set is brushed to blend new and existing extensions. You review the result, and your next appointment is booked before you leave — the best way to guarantee your preferred time slot.
